On a recent Saturday afternoon, 26 members of Majlis Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya’s Vaughan Muqami chapter gathered for a flyer distribution campaign in downtown Toronto. During the two-hour effort from 4 pm to 6 pm, participants distributed over 500 flyers and secured more than seven meaningful contacts with emails or phone numbers.
Rather than simply handing out literature, the Khuddam prioritised genuine conversations and building friendships with those they encountered. Many passersby stopped to listen attentively, creating opportunities for deeper engagement.

Majlis Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya, founded in 1938, is the young men’s auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community for members between the ages of 15 and 40, established on principles of service and sacrifice. The Holy Quran instructs believers to “call unto the way of thy Lord with wisdom and goodly exhortation,” [Surah An-Nahl 16:126] a principle the Khuddam embodied through their respectful outreach.
The strong turnout demonstrates the enthusiasm of Toronto’s young Ahmadi Muslims. As the organisers noted, “We are not even close to the finish line”, a reminder that each conversation represents one step in an ongoing journey of service and spiritual growth.
